How do you adjust the formatting and alignment of individual mark labels?

Hi everyone,

Struggling to format my data labels to get the desired result. I have two problems (see attached example):

I would like all the bar labels to be shown inside the bar graph - this isn't a big problem in the example attached but in other graphs I have built the labels overlap with totals and the like.
I would like to have different coloured font for different bar colours - e.g., I would like the label for the purple background be white and the rest to remain black.

Would appreciate any thoughts/ ideas!
