Updating Parameter field on refreshing extract

Hello,

I am using parameter to see particular information. I've calculated field for the same and then I've added a drop down to select parameter. The problem is parameter list is not updating itself automatically on refreshing the extract. When I update the parameter by clicking on 'Edit Parameter' on dashboard where I placed me drop down then new parameter are visible. Is there any way I can refresh the parameter on refreshing the data extract.

Clearing all other action when applying current action

I am using Tableau 7.0. I have a dashboard where there are more than three sheets. I have applied 'Used as filter' option on all the sheets. For simplicity consider following scenario:

I have 3 sheets: A, B, C. On selecting a filter in A, the other sheets are filtered which is what I expect. Now, when I select another filter in B, this adds the filter to all the sheets (including A). What I would like to do here is to remove the old filter that was added earlier and have only one filter applied to all sheets at one time.

In short is there any way by which I can remove the current filter while I apply another. I don't want to use 'Leave the filter' option I will again need the previous filter.

Create Hierarchy for data used in Map

Hello,

I have data in following manner:

Country	City	#Products
USA	New York	100
USA	Chicago	200
UK	London	100

and so on.

I created hierarchy in shelf (Country, City) but unlike my previous experience with it I cannot use control '+' in dashboard. For example when I created hierarchy for Duration (Years, Month) I can view the data year wise and if needed click on '+' and can see data on monthly basis.

But for map I can either see data Country wise or City wise. But I want to look at data on Dashboard on basis of country and if needed on basis of city. In the sheet I can click '+' on Level of Detail to see data in such form.

Is there any way I can use map in such way in dashboard?
