Tableau and horrible rendering on IE

We are having major company wide issues with Tableau not working and slowing down quickly on Internet Explorer. I think we've narrowed it down to a Java issues which I know is a known problem with Tableau and more specifically internet explorer. Performance improves somewhat if our users use chrome frame but it's not consistent. If users actually download the chrome browser it works perfect with Tableau and it very fast 100% of the time. We're a huge company so it's not an option to force users to download chrome and only use it to allow tableau to work.

Anyone else experiencing this? I know it's a know issue with Tableau but just seems crazy to me the software doens't work with the worlds most used browser. The server response is fine and has been tested. This is a browser rendering/jova processing issue.

Thanks for any help.

Significant performance issues for multi tab views
