Hi Cody. We've been running on 2019.3 for a while now, and have not encountered this issue. Were any other configuration changes made during the upgrade of your Dev server, on the Tableau side? Or on the VizAlerts side? Does the user running the VizAlert have export permissions on the viz?
Thank you so much for your quick reply, by you mentioning permissions it reminded me about a service account password change on the data sources for the Trigger Viz that was made after our last server upgrade back in May (2019.2.0). Since this is a DEV server the VizAlerts task scheduler job is always disabled unless I'm testing a server upgrade and due to the job always being disabled I didn't encounter the error until now.
After re-publishing the Trigger Viz I was able to get a successful test_alert. With our company always being an early adopter of the latest Tableau server version, I really appreciate your quick responses if I ever encounter an error with VizAlerts.
My pleasure! And I'm always glad to hear an issue is not due to a bug on the VizAlerts side.
