Is guest access enabled by default on a new Tableau Server install?

I saw from after a new install of Tableau Server, my Guest Access option was enabled without my knowledge and I wanted to ask if by default from a new Server install instance whether Guest Access is automatically enabled. On a side-note as well, I'm looking to see if there's also a way to audit the Guest permissions across all my sites to see if there are any sites or workbooks that are making use of Guest users.

          Hi David,

Guest user access is enabled by default when Tableau Server is installed. There is no way to audit the Guest permissions across the site besides which sites you want to choose to keep this option enabled. To disable on Site level you can go to Site Settings page and un-check "Enable Guest account".

The only admin part on Guest user is you can check Number of Views the account has accessed from Admin Views - Status > Traffic to Views.

          Hope this helps.

          Best regards,

          Ankit
