I am sorry, the data is propitiatory, however I feel the superstore data provides lat lon, that can be used as reference. But I think the question is quite clear, please do let me know if now.

I don't think creation of set is a good idea for this, as it only creates a set of the events present at that instance rather than in that area. Actually, what I have is lat/lon of cities and lat/lon of events, now I want the map the events as when it happens to a region nearby the city, say 2 km radius. Next will follow aggregation on the same.
