For this you will be needing to join the two data sources together in the data source window on the CR# field
If you need anything else, or help setting it up just let me know,
Thank you for your reply Jonathan,
if I join won’t my unmatched records become null? How will I link ID AND CR#
actually CR# and ID both are similar field but with different name and format
CR# - CR98765
ID - 98765
how do I link this two? And make it in the same column and make all the data avilable In the view?
And then how do I link it with S2 datasource CR#
Thank you for your reply, let me check the workbook once I reach home.
Thanks for your reply, the attached file is not being supported in Tableau 10.4
Can you please send me screenshots or explain? would really appreciate it.
I have managed to download the 2018.2 version, this is similar to what i was looking for but the ID field is being displayed as a separate field, where as it is part of the CR# of S1 datasource.
S1 basically is split into 2, ID and CR#
CR# (String) starts with
both Cr and ID from S1 should be used to reference Cr# of S2
to get the matched and unmatched records.
