Sankey Issues

Hello,

I've been trying to recreate a sankey diagram using the tutorial here:

I tried it on my own dataset and was not able to yield the proper result. I then tried it on the Superstore dataset and ran into similar issues.

It seemed like there were some issues in the syntax mentioned so I followed the steps in the tutorial exactly and with the modifications for what I thought code should be and still had issues.

I've attached the book here for any assistance in figuring out what I'm doing wrong. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

This is a tough chart to create. I will take a look at this later to see if I can help, but in the meantime, I thought I'd offer a plug-an-play template for sankeys. Might make it a bit easier. See https://www.kenflerlage.com/2018/04/sankey-template.html

Hi Ken,

I don't have that version of Tableau. I'm open to different viz ideas to accomplish the same kid of idea but not sure of any.

What version are you using? I can downgrade the workbook and send it to you.

Also, I actually like highlight tables as a replacement for sankeys. For instance, something like this:

I think highlight tables might be lost on my client but I'll try it with other solutions I can come up with.
