Check the date values of excel source first. It should show like this in your drop down field
If the values in the drop down are showing like this then you need to correct the date format in your excel source. You've set it MM/DD/YYYY in excel. Once done connect in tableau. I'm sure it will be recognize as date field in tableau.

Hi Mahfooj, thank you for reply but as I said before, I don't want to change any settings in excel. And this issue is when I am exporting worksheet from tableau from excel in tableau URL page. So is there any way in tableau server to make the formats compatible with Excel?
In tableau, date format determined by your system settings only. I won't suggest you to download the data from view like this. Better use download option which is available at the bottom or right top corner in tableau web server. You can select the header or somewhere in the worksheet to instruct table like you wants to download the data from that section. Then go to download option then choose cross-tab option then click ok. It'll download the data, only concern is if the fields in the worksheets represent any graph/chart then format of exported file will be quite different, if its a cross-tab view then it will be exported as it is.
