6 meses anteriores/ Six previous months

    Gabriel Xavier

      Pessoal, boa tarde.

Gostaria de saber se existe alguma maneira de eu selecionar um mês e ele me apresentar não somente o mês que eu escolhi, mas os seis meses anteriores a ele e seus valores .

      Hi Guys, good afternoon.

I would like to know if there is any way for me to select a month and The Tableau display on the screen not only the month I chose but the six months prior to it and it values.

          Hi

          see the attached using sets

first a parameter for the user to input a date

this is the 6 month set definitions  - and the sales for those 6 months

and this is the one month set and sales

add it filter to show the 6 month or the one month

          then you make the viz

and yes you can add filters for customers, products , market segments or any other dimensions and the sets will still work

          Jim

            Hi Jim, good morning.

Thanks a lot for helping me.

However what I was thinking, is if someone select for example ( January ) Tableau shows the  January's data and the data from six previous months to the month selected.

            For Example :

            Month Selected: August

            Year  Selected 2017

                                                             Six Previous months values

                              < ---------------------------------------------->

February       March          April        May        June         July            August -> (month selected)

                                    200             4000            26           1000         80           87               100000

Thanks in advance for helping me.

              like this

              change the set to this

                Hi Tim,

it's almost that, see the picture below for better understanding.

What I need is when I select a month, for example "November" it returns me back not only november but 5 previous months values.

                What formula should I use?

Note: The parameters and filters in the image are not correct.

                Thanks in advance,

this is for the month in the parameter - the formula could be and measure - I cant tell from your image if the one month is a different measures - so if you wanted a budget value you could use that here

                  Jim
