    Making week-on-week percentage change heatmap

    Steven Mui

      Hi all,

I have a lot of individual sales data (amount in USD) across different time points which is now made into a simple summary tables (separate tables in Tableau) as below:

      As of 1 Jan 2019

      Computer
      Clothes
      Accessories
      North123,67850,53270,934
      South521,21355,24180,124
      Central34,567123,56712,567

      As of 8 Jan 2019

      ComputerClothes
      Accessories
      North134,90040,67887,123
      South256,78956,78991,348
      Central39,290156,89012,500

I want to create a "heatmap" to show the week-on-week % change in each cell (e.g. as computer sales in the south region has dropped a lot I want it to be highlighted red) in a separate table. Is there an easy way to do that in Tableau (note that my base data are thousands of individual sale data per region and product type).

Thanks a lot for the help in advance!
