Instead of Analysis -- Table Layout -- Show Empty Columns; the easiest way to do this would be to right click on your columns that has Month(date) and 'Show Missing Values'.
Attached worksheet for reference.

Thanks for replying!
I tried your method and it works with the mock up data! But when I tired it with my real dashboard. I couldn't find the "Show Missing Values" option when right clicking the column?
I added a new tab to better replicate my workbook.
The date on column is a parameter, so it can toggle between 'month' and 'week' format. The 'month' and 'week' options is affecting other calculations so I have to hard code them instead of using the Tableau date function which can easily change between month and week....
Here is a great read on why that happened: Unable to Show Missing Values (Dates) when date level is switchable using parameter
The basic idea is that when you select Exact date for your date type you take away the 'intervals' and that is why ' the missing value' option dissapears. Without the option to choose show missing value , you guessed it, you can't show the missing values.
My solution is a very simple way to tackle your INITIAL issue ( where your column is fixed). With the parameters , your x-axis ( month view V. week view) changes so this solution will not work. If you are ok to fix your column to a month/year view ( for both parameters) than this solution will still work. ( see attachment)
Otherwise you need to follow the advice from the link pasted above.
hope it helps!
