Plotting Time (Continuous) against Grand Total (Analytics)

Hello,

I recently posted this thread: Counting 'Active' Sessions using Start Time and End Time which thanks to Norbert Maijoor and sajad.bhat's help, I've managed to display the total count of sessions against any specific time.

I've managed to re-create this work using the P1. Time Parameter to give me the total of entries which fall within that window.

Do you know if there is a way in which I can plot the 'Grand Total' against Time as a continuous dimension (ie not D1 Start Time or D2 Stop time). I would like to plot time in increments of seconds against a full day. The data I'm working with has over 1.2 million entries over months, so I've attached a very small sample which covers a morning's worth of data! I've attached a packaged workbook in Version 2018.3.2. I've also attached the data I worked with.

I think I understand what you want and to do it you will need to scaffold the your data against a time line

Hi Prasana,

Do you want to sumup all the counter in the selected period?
In that case you can you table calc. "Running Total". you can show in table format as well as in graphical.
Let me know if that is what you expect.

Hi Sajad,

Thanks for your help. Sorry, I wasn't being clear. I was trying to plot the grand total against time. So not continuous total, but the Grand Total in analytics (ie. number of rows of data for each time).

I've now managed to do a workaround but still having a few issues...
