I learnt that:
To sign in Tableau Server, call the Auth.sign_in functions like:
import tableauserverclient as TSC tableau_auth = TSC.TableauAuth('USERNAME', 'PASSWORD') server = TSC.Server('http://SERVER_URL') server.auth.sign_in(tableau_auth)the above is sourced from: https://tableau.github.io/server-client-python/docs/sign-in-outI want to know what's my username, password and http://SERVER_URL? (the Tableau Server in my computer is defaulted to use Active Directory)In Tableau Server Configuration>General, there is a division called Server Run as User:Is the user name and password for API same as that of my Window account?2. How to get Local Unique Identifiers (LUIDs) for workbooks or datasouurces?from the post, https://community.tableau.com/message/415072#415072some one said:you need to log on with readonly user (tableau is not enough) and use workbooks table and not _workbooks.How to do that?THANKS~~
