    REST API site->user->email

      Is there any way to return a site user's email with the REST api?

      I'm using this API call:

      https://onlinehelp.tableau.com/current/api/rest_api/en-us/help.htm#REST/rest_api_ref.htm#Query_User_On_Site%3FTocPath%3D…

      GET /api/api-version/sites/site-id/users/user-id

      Which returns this:

      <user id="user-id"
         name="
      user-name"
         siteRole="
      site-role"
         lastLogin="
      last-login-date"
         externalAuthUserId="
      authentication-id-from-external-provider"
         fullName="
      user-full-name"
         authSetting="
      auth-setting" />

      The Update User on Site query returns an object with the user's email, but that seems a little hacky to use a command instead of a query to get that field.

      Thanks!
