# How to see the negative numbers in Bin Calculated Measure

Hello,

I have help create an Bin off of these two Measures Delta YTD and Advertiser

Also using the this Calculation:

if [Delta YTD] >=0 and [Delta YTD] <400 then '0-399'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=400 and [Delta YTD] <800 then '400-799'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=800 and [Delta YTD] <1200 then '400-1199'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=1200 and [Delta YTD] <1600 then '1200-1599'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >= 1600 then '>1600'

END

Which it works. But I want to see the negative numbers so I try this Calculation:

if [Delta YTD] <-800 then '< -801'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=-800 and [Delta YTD] <-400 then '-800 - -401'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD]>=-400 and [Delta YTD] <0 then '-400 - 0'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=0 and [Delta YTD] <400 then '0-399'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=400 and [Delta YTD] <800 then '400-799'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=800 and [Delta YTD] <1200 then '400-1199'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=1200 and [Delta YTD] <1600 then '1200-1599'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >= 1600 then '>1600'

END

But it come out like this: Is there a way to show the negative numbers??

Hi Donovan Thomas ,

The chart is showing negative numbers ,but the naming convention that you have used because of that these negative numbers are showing after 1200-1599 . You can manually change the position of your bins .

Just select and drag it .

Hi Nikher,

I try that and it didn't work

What the whole Calculation on how to create an bin with the negative numbers is the one I have about or is it something else??

Donovan Thomas ,

Would you mind attaching your twbx file ?

• ###### 5. Re: How to see the negative numbers in Bin Calculated Measure

I just attach an mock up version

• ###### 6. Re: How to see the negative numbers in Bin Calculated Measure

In your sample data , all delta YTD value were greater than zero so I just changed the name a bit .

IF [Delta YTD] <-800 then '< -801'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=-800 and [Delta YTD] <-400 then '-800 - -401'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD]>=-400 and [Delta YTD] <0 then 'B .-400 - 0'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=0 and [Delta YTD] <400 then 'A . < -801'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=400 and [Delta YTD] <800 then '400-799'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=800 and [Delta YTD] <1200 then 'C . 400-1199'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >=1200 and [Delta YTD] <1600 then '1200-1599'

ELSEIF [Delta YTD] >= 1600 then 'B . -400 - 0'

END

In order to sort out your problem . Hope you were looking for this only .
