# How to count for each KPI criteria

I have made workbook like attached and set KPI for profit ratio.

What should I do if I want to know :

• how many product fall under each KPI criteria ?
• how many total quantity fall under each KPI criteria ?

Thanks so much

Jonathan

Hi Tushar,

I tried to create calculated field but cannot find FIXED statement.

Btw, I have created calculated field for KPI without using FIXED statement :

IF [Profit Ratio] <= 0.2 AND [Profit Ratio] >= 0.4 THEN "GOOD"

ELSEIF [Profit Ratio] > 0.4 THEN "HIGH"

ELSEIF [Profit Ratio] < 0.2 THEN "LOW"

END

Is there any difference between with and without FIXED ?

Also I cannot use CNTD, it says that it require extract. I use data source tableau server which is my company data source.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Jonathan,

If product name is not in the view, with your formula you get the below output.

So to get correct status you need to fix it on product name. Copy and paste the formula and check.

{ FIXED  [Product Name]:(

IF [Profit Ratio] >= 0.2 AND [Profit Ratio] <= 0.4 THEN "GOOD"

ELSEIF [Profit Ratio] < 0.2 THEN "LOW"

ELSEIF [Profit Ratio] > 0.4 THEN "HIGH"

END)

}
