    Most common value calculation

    Eduardo Montes

      Good day to all,

I am stuck in a Workbook with something that looks really simple in origin. Since I am working with sensitive table I created a sample case..

I have a table like this one:

      BillProductOrigin
      BI-001ASpain
      BI-001BSpain
      BI-001CGermany
      BI-001DArgentina
      BI-002AUnited States
      BI-003BEngland
      BI-003EPortugal

I need to make a Calculation who keeps the value of the most frequent Origin. In the case of BI-003 I don't care if it keeps England of Portugal. The desired result should look like this:

      BillProductOriginCalculation 1
      BI-001ASpainSpain
      BI-001BSpainSpain
      BI-001CGermanySpain
      BI-001DArgentinaSpain
      BI-002AUnited StatesUnited States
      BI-003BEnglandEngland
      BI-003EPortugalEngland

The reason behind is that in the real one we remove all duplicates f Bill, and a filter will mess with several dashboards that I have already in place. Also, we want to keep  a way that shows the most frequent origin .

I have tried to play with this solutions but neither of them allows me to keep a string solution for all rows:

I want to see a most common value field in tabular view

How to do a max count?

      Thanks for your help
