Ken Flerlage Sep 25, 2018 5:43 PM (in response to Rk B)I don't think there is any difference between installing Tableau Server on on-premises or in the public cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.). You can create a 2 node instance (see Install Tableau Server on a Two-Node Cluster) but it will not have any failover. If you need any sort of redundancy, you'll want 3 nodes--1 primary and 2 workers. (Note: This changes a bit in 2018.2). More information here: Distributed Requirements
