Charting: Line hierarchy: Formatting to have coloured line at top of the chart

I am trying to create a chart where the user selects a region from a parameter and the corresponding line on the chart is highlighted (and the other regions, marked as "Rest of the World" are faded out).

I have managed to reach this stage using a parameter and filter combo - looks great. But I've come stuck on the final element, I want to show the coloured line at the front of my charting pane - such that the "Rest of the World" lines do not overlap it (see screenshot below).

Is this possible? Ideally mimicking the highlighting function Tableau has. I played around with opacity of the lines, but that's not a great solution. I have a feeling it might not be possible - but I'll be more than happy to be proven wrong!

Thanks for the help in advance.
