Make a duplicate sheet. Turn off grand totals on one of them, and turn off all tooltips on the other. Display only the grand total from one sheet (the one without tooltips), and only the data rows from the other sheet.
Artistically display the two sheets on your dashboard so that you only see the grand totals line from that sheet. (Float the data sheet on top of the grand totals sheet, for example.)
Tadd Said: Thanks, Joe! This is a good workaround - although I always get a little nervous about floating vs tiled. I'll mark this as correct.
First, I'll branch the new question into a new thread.
But as for not wanting to float, you could make that grand total sheet just a single grand total row, and then tile it below the data sheet.
