    Display Measure Names as Hierarchy

    Preeti Gupta

(Using Tableau 10.3) I have a table schema similar to as below - Oracle Table 1 (Column based table structure). I have another table where relationship of Subject and group is defined. Subject corresponds to column headers in Oracle Table 1.

      Oracle Table 1

      Student NamePhoneAddressSub 1Sub 2Sub 3Sub 4Sub 5
      Leo4543545435abc4567454376
      Mark4543545436def7621435443
      Daniel4543545437fgh6745566543
      Sushi4543545438try3276545432
      Drew4543545439yui3534434356
      Michael4543545440ytu7523233243
      Richard4543545441iuo3298214521

      Oracle Table 2

      SubjectGroup
      Sub 1Group 1
      Sub 2Group 1
      Sub 3Group 1
      Sub 4Group 2
      Sub 5Group 2

The output I need is as below

      Student NamePhoneAddressGroup 1Group 2
      Leo4543545435abc157119
      Mark4543545436def14097
      Daniel4543545437fgh168108
      Sushi4543545438try16286
      Drew4543545439yui11299
      Michael4543545440ytu12175
      Richard4543545441iuo15166

Group 1 and Group 2 should be expandable i.e. on expanding Group, Output should be

      Group 1
      Group 2
      Student NamePhoneAddressSub 1Sub 2Sub 3Sub 4Sub 5
      Leo4543545435abc4567454376
      Mark4543545436def7621435443
      Daniel4543545437fgh6745566543

      Michael4543545440ytu7523233243
      Richard4543545441iuo3298214521

Note - I can't transpose this table to row based data source. Reason is I have more than 80 millions of records.
