There is no way that I'm familiar with. I'm guessing you'd need to use a combination of logs & the hist events table OR base it all out of the log file(s).

It isn't feasible. Believe me, I've tried every which way, including trying to use a join based on event date windows. It's quite frustrating, because there are types of audit records that exist in one, but not the other. I'd kill for a unified set of audited actions, with performance measurements, in an easy-to-analyze data set. I wish I had a better answer. I unfortunately don't know log parsing enough to be able to advise on that approach.
Thanks Matt. Knowing it's a dead-end will at least save me the headaches you've been through!
I'll spend a bit of time looking at the logs to see if they hold the key. I'm not overly hopeful - previous attempts at log parsing have toppled our somewhat mediocre hardware - but I'll update this thread if I make any decent progress.
