We need to be able to generate both HYPER and TDE extracts on the same RHEL7 machine.
HYPER package (extractapi-linux-x86_64-2018-1-2.rpm) went through fine and it's working.
However we are not able to install the TDE package (Tableau-SDK-Linux-64Bit-10-3-14.rpm) because our Puppet (our Package manager system) don't do anything probably saying "I have already installed 'tableausdk', no need to do anything". We believe the reason is that both packages have the same internal package name "tableausdk" (see rpm printout below).
Has anybody tried to install both packages on the same linux machine ? How did you do it ?
Alternatively, we could ask Tableau to rebuild the packages so that each have an unique name (for example "tableausdk-tde-10-3-14" and "tableausdk-hyper-2018-1-2" ) ? We hope this would allow both packages to cleanly coexist on the same host.
(we have been struggling with this for weeks, new-features adoption is hurt)
