How to create groups of measures

    Javier Trivino

      Dear forum,

I have am creating a view for a set of data that has ~100 measures like this:

      measureA-1

      measureA-2

      measureA-3

      measureA-4

      measureB-1

      measureB-2

      measureB-3

      measureB-4

      .

      .

      .

      measureT-1

      measureT-2

      measureT-3

      measureT-4

In Tableau 2018, I created groups for each set of 4, (measureA, measureB... measureT) but when I add the measures filter, every individual measure is listed.

I tried to use a parameter but I can add the groups measureA, measureB, etc.

Is there a way to make Tableau to show a measure filter that shows groups for each measure (1-4) ? For example (under the measures filter):

      Measure Names

      measureA

      measureB

      .

      .

      measureT

so that when I select a group, all 4 individual measures are displayed?

I'd like to be able to do this using version 8.3 and/or 2018.

      Thanks a lot.
