You can link a whole PPT file easily enough. Host it (or any file) on a shared web site and to a URL Object on the dashboard that points to it. Once you get that working you can do all sorts of cool stuff.
This is a simple notepad file I tested:
<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left">Look! Scrolling text!!</marquee>
It gives me a scrolling message. I could put a scrolling daily banner at the top of a dashboard that way.
But I have no idea how to get a URL to drill into a specific page of a PPT (or word file, or anything else like that.)
Can you just delete out the rest of the PPT and leave that one page?
Well, wait a minute.
I just did this Google: "URL show specific page of PPT"
I get stuff like this:
I'm not sure it's exactly what you need, but somewhere out there might be an article about how to make a URL to PPT that opens a specific page.
Thank you, Joe! I tried the recommendations in the article but no luck. I will keep searching.
