Please correct me if I interpreted your problem incorrectly, but I think what you want is your row values to be shown as part of Revenue in terms of % composition correct?
You can try 2 ways:
1. Use the Percent to Total calculation on your Revenue field. This will show % composition against the total revenue.
2. The other way is using TOTAL() function.
You can try to create a calculated field where you calculate TOTAL(SUM(Revenue)) / SUM(Revenue).
This should give you the desired result.
Please mark helpful and/or correct if this works for you.
Hi Tushar thanks for the reply!
I think this is really close. If I add the first custom field that you provided I can change my parameter and the field value changes as expected. The problem is my table has a date filter on it and if I add that filter in then the new calculated field is empty unless the parameter matches that date. I've provided screenshots to demonstrate. The goal here is to display today's values vs a date selected by the parameter.
I think you need to add that Date filter as a Context filter. Tushar will be a better judge since it is his solution but based on a quick glance I think that should do it.
When you use filter it restricts the data and you don't get access to the filtered rows. So instead of using filter you can use parameter to control the entire view. In addition to previous reply, you can create one more calculation that wil show today's date data.
As if your data is aligned with today's date you can calculate it as
If [date field]= today() then [revenue] end
Let me know if that works or not.
Thanks I think thats the answer I needed.
