User access at workbook level not impacted if restricted at project level

We have a Tableau portal  for our corporate business users.

When we add permissions to a project for a user or a group, he has proper restrictions as long as he accesses it from Project view like below

But when a user comes to the workbook menu, he has access to all workbooks on the portal except the ones which have workbook level permissions implemented.

I have tried the following scenarios with a test user and the following are the results.

      Workbook Access

      Project Access

      Yes

      Yes

Need at least Viewer or higher

If we setup Viewer or higher to all users, then he can see the project folder irrespective of his permission level

      Yes

      No

Project not visible, but workbook has interactor level access

      Yes

      No

Workbook still accessible even with a specific denied access

      Yes

      No

Workbook still accessible even with a specific denied access

Is there any way to implement access hierarchy on project level in tableau portal and that has to carry on to all the workbooks published in the certain project ?

      Awaiting your answers.

      Thanks,
