How to customize the content in a pie chart?

Hey, I want to create the pie chart to show what made up the total sales. I have sales number in equitation like sales =profit + COGS + expense.

How can I build a pie chart for this in Tableau? I don't have a dimension to put in the row.

This depends on the structure of your data. If you have data in separate columns (i.e. separate measures), like this:

Then you can do something like this in Tableau, where you'd leverage the "Measure Names" dimension and Measure Values.

If your data is in separate rows, like this:

Then you can do this in Tableau.

See attached workbook which has both methods. If this helps to resolve your question, please be sure to mark this as the "correct answer" so others may learn from it in the future. Thanks!
