    Linux Server backup with overwrite

    Dan Colbert

I need to set up a nightly backup for our Linux server.

The first backup works just peachy, but when I run it a second time I get this:

While I get no actual raspberry (or other unsavory actions) from the system, I do get a "Cannot overwrite the existing file" error.  Has anyone overcome this?  I can probably build a shell script to remove the file beforehand, but would prefer that the tsm command take care of that.

Is there an undocumented switch for the backup to overwrite?

      Thanks in advance,

      Dan
