How to create claculated URL column by appending URL with existing column values_SQL Server DB

    Rajeshwari Guddeti

I have a data something like below:

      IDName
      1001rajeshwari
      1002siroros.roongdonsai
      1003lee.shin.huey

I would like to add another column which will direct me to their tableau public profile.

Tableau author link looks like https://public.tableau.com/profile/rajeshwari#!/

So as to automatically create this URL from existing data, I have created below calculate field:

This gives me column with list of URL's for each name:

      IDNameURL
      1001rajeshwarihttps://public.tableau.com/profile/rajeshwari#!/
      1002siroros.roongdonsaihttps://public.tableau.com/profile/siroros.roongdonsai#!/
      1003lee.shin.hueyhttps://public.tableau.com/profile/lee.shin.huey#!/

Doing this with Excel is easy. But i have my data in SQL server for which i have to append existing column to fixed URL.

When I click on any of the name, it should direct me to the URL link that is created using calculated field.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

      Regards,

      Rajeshwari.@
