    Add a Data Callout to a Dashboard

    Brian Adams

      One last question for the day.....

      I want to calculate the (number of encounters for the last month where MEP_Code = Yes and CM = Yes) divided by (number of encounters for last month where MEP_Code = Yes)

      and display that on a dashboard.

      Thanks,

      Brian

          I've created a calculated field:

          SUM( IF( [CURRENTMONTH] = TRUE AND [MEP] = 'YES' AND CM = 'YES') THEN [ENCOUNTERS] END) / SUM( IF( [CURRENTMONTH] = TRUE AND [MEP] = 'YES') THEN [ENCOUNTERS] END)

          and it says the calculation is valid. But when I drop it on Text in the marks card nothing shows up.

          Does the formula look right?

            Brian,

            I'm thinking you might need something to get it to count over the whole set.

            As you had described, you could return the EncounterID, if you need it elsewhere,

            and then CountD the EncounterIDs.  Alternatively, you could set a 1 or 0 flag

            if the condition was met, and then sum those up.

            If you want to try the Level of Detail route, you could try

            {SUM(IF [CURRENTMONTH]='YES' AND [MEP]="YES" AND [CM]="YES" THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)}

            /

            {SUM(IF [CURRENTMONTH]='YES' AND [MEP]="YES" THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)}

            or the WindowCalc route

            WINDOW_SUM(SUM(IF [CURRENTMONTH]='YES' AND[MEP]="YES" AND [CM]="YES" THEN 1 ELSE 0 END))

            /

            WINDOW_SUM(SUM(IF [CURRENTMONTH]='YES' AND [MEP]="YES" THEN 1 ELSE 0 END))
