Yes it works the same way as in tableau - Are your field names in the first row? doesn't look that way from from the image - also the data interpreter works the same as in Tableau - try that first -

Thank you for your reply. The first pic show the action in Tableau desktop. The second pric show the Prep veiw, but I cannot find the selection for "Field name are in first row". All my field names in the first row in excel. I also use the "Data Interpreter", but it comes the same result with no help. I show it below:
sorry but I didn't have any trouble creating a file in Prep with files with headers in row 1 or in row 3
Please attache a small (several row) sample of the file that is giving you a problem
Hi, the follow pic shows my raw data in excel. I think it is the simpliest data I ever have. I could use the function "Field name are in first row" in Tableau 2018 if I could not get the headers automatically. But I cannot find such a selection when the data interpreter didn't work in Tableau Prep. Thank you.
