Any luck with installation?
I am trying it for the first time on SLES 12.3. The installation shows some initial missing dependencies. The required libs are actually present on the server, so I think the paths the installation is configured to use are different from where the dependencies are located within the file hierarchy in SUSE. Tech support would not tell me where the app is looking, so I will have to try some other approaches. I have been using SLES (and openSuSE) for almost 20 years, ever since Novell Netware went away! I don't really want to change now unless absolutely necessary.
I will report back on my success or lack thereof.
We received confirmation from Tableau Support team that they are yet to roll out SUSE support version. It's on their road map but not with a definite timeline. We had to change OS to Ubuntu 16.04.
