I would recommend filing a Support Case on this issue as it looks like a number of other customers have reported the same behavior. We will be able to use the support case to track the issue and investigate further. If you are able to include Server Logs and Prep Logs, this will help as well. Thanks!

We are aware of this issue, and the fix is to make sure that the SSL Certs from your server are implicitly installed on the computer running Prep. Per our documentation:
Work with your IT department or system administrator to install the required root certificate on the computer where Tableau Prep is installed. The procedure for doing this is documented in Install Tableau Prep.

Hoping so, but in the meantime, please make sure that you install the SSL Certs on the computer in question and Prep will allow you to publish your flow.
I am facing the same issue and I have installed Tableau Prep on the same machine where the server is running at. And no I can´t create a customer case a Tableau Prep is not part of the product I can choose to open a case
Are you using the Web Form or the Customer Portal to open a case? Prep should be listed on the Web Form per the screenshot below - but if you're not seeing it, just choose "Not Product Related" and we'll fix it on the back end after you've submitted.
