Have you tried right clicking and running as admin? We'll get someone on your support case shortly. In the meantime, here's a link to generate log files for Tableau Prep - they will be useful for our team to investigate.

I have tried running as admin and got the same result. I have been in contact with support and they are looking over the case.

To keep it short and simple, please check if the local host is in the Proxy > Exception List
1. Open Control Panell
2. Internet Options > Connections
3. LAN Settings
4. Proxy Server > Advanced
6. Add 127.0.0.1 (localhost)
