    Counting AggAvgs into Groups

    Brandon Scott

Hello all.  I am new to Tableau and dove in head first about two weeks ago and brought my company onboard.  I've been digging through past questions trying to see if someone has posted the question I have but I haven't been able to find it, so here I am.

      Simplified Data example:

      Account
      Calls Made (Daily Total)
      Date
      a1212452/20/18
      a1210032/21/18
      a1211452/22/18
      b34142/20/18
      b34222/21/18
      b34162/22/18
      c565692/20/18
      c564782/21/18
      c565132/22/18
      d781652/20/18
      d783452/21/18
      d782232/22/18

I need to find the average [Calls Made] of each [Account] across range of [Dates], and then count the number of [Accounts] with an average [Calls Made] within ranges of x:

Count of [Accounts] where [Calls Made] avg. = 1-50

Count of [Accounts] where [Calls Made] avg. = 51-100

Count of [Accounts] where [Calls Made] avg. = 101-200

      etc.

I'm assuming I'm going to need to do a calculated field with an IF -- ELSEIF -- ELSEIF--  -- END grouping, but I've having trouble with this and then using that pill to get a meaningful bar graph.

I hope this is detailed enough. I can make a mockup workbook if necessary.

      Thanks in advance,

      Brandon
