    Identifying data characteristics across years

Hi - I think my question is simple, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Using 10.4, I'm trying to identify people who have referred us business in consecutive years. This is the basic structure of my data (can't post my workbook, so this is using the superstore data):

In this example, "Accessories," "Copiers," "Envelopes," "Machines," and "Tables" should be false, but everything else should be true since there are sales in those categories in both years. I've tried a number of different combinations of IF and CASE statements, to no avail - in this example, "Accessories" would end up as two rows; a true row for the 2017 sales and a false (or null) row for 2018, Appliances would have two true rows.

      Thanks in advance.
