Find my approach as reference below and stored in attached workbook version 10.3 located in the original thread.
1. P1. Sort on
2. D1. Sort on:
if [P1 Sort on]="Profit" then [Profit]
elseif [P1 Sort on]="Quantity" then [Quantity]
elseif [P1 Sort on]="Sales" then [Sales]
3. Drag required objects to the indicated locations
4. Sub-Category > Right Click > Text element > Sort
5. Sort Sub-Category

Thanks so much Norbert.
Question: Step 1
When you setup your parameter weren’t the three fields numeric, not strings? Did you just type in the name of the fields within the list portion of the parameter and assign them “string?”

I first set Data type to string and then just filled the entries Profit-Profit, Quantity-Quantity and Sales-Sales but you could also set Data type Integer and fill 1 - Profit, 2 - Quantity, 3 - Sales
