When you publish a data source to Tableau Server the authentication can be set then. Given the Tableau Server is set for Kerberos, and the Run AS user is configured correctly, the published data source should not prompt the user.
Scenario 2 listed above I am not 100% on and will need to look at some more information. Or possibly someone else in the community can step in and shed some light on the issue.

Scenario 2 will require a sign in.
User authentication through SAML does not apply to permissions and authorization for Tableau Server content, such as data sources and workbooks. It also does not control access to underlying data that workbooks and data sources connect to.

What will happen when
Tableau Workbook with credentials NOT embedded. is connecting Live to a datasource
If Tableau server is keberized and Teradata is kerberized
If a user views the workbook, will he be prompted for logging in to datasource?
