I'd like to know if there's any way to view the Data Source tab of a packaged workbook downloaded from Tableau Public.

I'm learning about Spider Maps from the Tableau Help article Create Maps that Show Paths Between Origins and Destinations in Tableau.

I'm able to download these projects as packaged workbooks from Tableau Public; however, I'm unable to view the underlying data structure on the Data Source tab. When I try to view the Data Source tab, I'm prompted to browse for a local data source file.

I suspect there's something about the nature of packaged workbook that I'm missing.
