Mapping Action Type & Actual Action Taken on  'which' Asset

    Abhijit Ubale

I wish to create a view to figure "(what type of action, what actual action within this type and upon which asset)" is my user doing on a certain date-time.

Here Action Type would be - either of -

      Update

      Send E-Mail

      Publish

      Delete

      Create

      Access

Actual Action would be - either of -

      Access Data Source

      Access View

      Activate Project

      Activate Site

      Activate System User

      Activate View

      Activate Workbook

      Add Comment

      Add User To Group

      Add User to Site

      Add User To Group

      Add Comment

      Activate Workbook

      Activate View

      Activate System User

      Activate Site

      Activate Project

      Access View

      Access Data Source

      Issue Refresh Token

      Increment Workbook Extract

      Increment Data Source Extract

      Impersonate User

      Hide Workbook Toolbar

      Hide Workbook Tabs

      Enable Schedule

      Download Workbook revision

      Download Workbook

      Download Data Source revision

      Download Data Source

      Disable Schedule

      Delete Workbook Task

      Delete Workbook

      Delete View

      Delete User From Group

      Delete System User

      Delete Site User

      Delete Site

      Delete Schedule

      Delete Project

      Delete Group

      .

      .

      .

      .

And Asset would be Workbook, View, Datasource, Actor User, Target User, Site, etc

I know we have this view available out of the box on Tableau Server, but wish to create a custom view and scale this more.

I have been playing with postgres tables via readonly user, but couldn't figure a clear way to get this join/mapping in a dashboard/view.

Seeking Mark Jackson, Jonathan Drummey, Russell Christopher  & others to provide any leads here.
