From what I can see you are using the [Period] field on your filter but a different field on the shelf. Make sure you are using the same field in your filter on the column shelf as well.
Also, because of the way the data partitions, you may want to either make it a continuous (green) month or you should make sure the YEAR is in front of the Month.
I hope this helps!
Thanks Muralidhar. I am going to try and let you know how it goes

You need to change from discrete to continuous or use YEAR([YourDate])*100+Month([YourDate]), as discrete that will give you e.g. 201701,201702 ...201601...
Hello Prasyson, thanks so much for your help. I will try you way about YEAR([YourDate])*100+Month([YourDate])
while the Data I want to show is a Year Over Year number, do you think this calculated still helps to put it rightly.
Thanks so much for your help. I did change the Month(Date) To continuous value( It is a year over year number). While I can see to issues
1. the data in the chart shows start from Jan while the parameter is February( the reason we do not have Jan data) I think it is because we do not have data in Jan 2017
2. It seems that the bar chart is not last 6/12 month but it is more than what we need. Can you explain why it is? Potentially any advice to fix it?
Thanks a million
Can you show us whats on the filter shelf?
