First of all, we'd like to thank all of you for coming out to the first Southwest Indiana Tableau Users Group meeting back in April! The response greatly exceeded everyone's expectations, and we hope that we can keep and build on that energy as we move forward as a group!
We are beginning to plan our next meeting in September. Berry Global has generously offered to be our hosts this time, and we are currently looking for volunteer presenters. We would like to have four presentations this time, but unlike the first meeting, the presentations would be shorter (10-15 minutes). We would like to have two presentations be user stories, similar to the ones during first meeting (only shorter), and two technical presentations. The technical presentations could be about any technique you've learned and/or applied. Examples include, but are not limited to, calculations/lod expressions, data integration/preparation, joins/blending, sets/parameters, mapping, etc.
Anyone is welcome to present! Don't let your level of expertise hold you back! We had a wide range of experience levels at the first meeting, and we are all there to learn from each other! So, don't be afraid to step our of your comfort zone and share your what you've learned in your Tableau journey!
Email firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, August 7th, with your presentation ideas so we can finalize the meeting agenda. A meeting announcement will be sent out once we have the date, time and location set.
