Connections to Excel files are usually managed by Tableau's own data engine; so no file/table is actually being written to disk or in any ways made reference-able (which is part of the basis of how temp tables are used). If we are relying on JET legacy data connection (which is something that users need to specifically define at the data connection) to connect to Excel, context filters actually simply modify the filter handling as JET does not have concepts of temp tables (unlike other db connections). Is there something we are looking to achieve with this?
Thanks for reply,
In interview i got this question.
So finally temp table will create or not??
If yes where it will be created..
