I reviewed one other customer support case with this issue and the customer resolved the issue by renaming the variables in their python scripts to get around the issue. This is something I have not seen other Python users come across so I am moving this to the Developer Forums of the Forums to serve as a reference and potentially kick off a larger conversation with more developers.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for pushing this forward. So instead of global environment variables, they put them at the top of each script and assigned them to new variables? I would love to see if there are any other solutions - thanks again for bringing this to the developer portal.
