Prevent Publishing to Server from Looking at Proxy Environment Variables

I have Tableau 10.2 installed. I also have Anaconda and Python installed which requires HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY environment variables to download packages, web scrape, etc. When I attempt to publish a Tableau workbook to Tableau Server from Desktop, it doesn't connect because Tableau is attempting to go through the environment variables instead of connecting directly (like it does if I remove the variables). This causes a port conflict.

Is there any way to prevent Tableau from looking at the environment variables? I currently have to delete and recreate the environment variables each time I want to publish a workbook. I don't have admin access to Server.

Thank you for any insight you all might have!
