    Datasource vs Data Query

      Is there any talk about separating the data-source from the query that you are executing.  We have an Oracle Database, so we want to create one Oracle User, but we would like to executive many queries using one data source connection.  We do not have single sign-on enabled for Oracle, so we need to use a basic sign-on.  Is there any way we can manage this on Tableau Server, or anything on the roadmap?

          One way to do this is to publish the datasource to Tableau Server and then point all the workbooks at the published datasource.  When you do this, then the connection is handled via the "dataserver" process.
