How do I prevent summing duplicate values in a one to many table relationship

    Ken Kleber

      In version 10.1

      Example data

      Table A

      Application Name  Contract Cost

      TestApp                  $100

      Table B

Application Name      Server Name Server Cost

      TestApp                        Srvr A          $10

      TestApp                        Srvr B          $10

Table A and B are joined on Application Name

What I want to see in my work sheet is:

Application Name   Contract Cost    Server Name    Server Cost

      TestApp                     $100                   Srvr A                $10

                                                                   Srvr B                $10

      Total                          $100                                             $20

      What I get is:

Application Name   Contract Cost    Server Name    Server Cost

      TestApp                     $100                   Srvr A                $10

                                        $100                   Srvr B                $10

      Total                         $200                                             $20

It is duplicating the Contract Cost, because the data source is duplicating the Contract cost for each relationship. How do I prevent this from happening
