    AD Unable to login

    Peter Weiss

      Hello,

quite new to tableau software, I set up succcessfully Primary server

with 2 workers using AD authentication in Azure cloud environment.

      Problem: Logins fail after restart:

      c:\Program Files\Tableau\Tableau Server\10.2\bin>tabadmin start

      ===== Starting service...

*** Worker1 failed to connect to az-we-hdp-tbw1:8060: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

*** Worker2 failed to connect to az-we-hdp-tbw1:8060: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

         -- Service was started successfully

      c:\Program Files\Tableau\Tableau Server\10.2\bin>

Not sure wether these messages are related to the login problem . I

know port 8060 is used by PostgreSQL. Checked on both workers:

There's a process running on that host:

      PS C:\Users\tadmin> Test-NetConnection -ComputerName "az-we-hdp-tbw2" -Port 8060

      ComputerName     : az-we-hdp-tbw2

      RemoteAddress    : 10.120.192.5

      RemotePort       : 8060

      InterfaceAlias   : Ethernet 2

      SourceAddress    : 10.120.192.6

      TcpTestSucceeded : True

      PS C:\Users\tadmin>

There's none on the other worker az-we-hdp-tbw1.

The passwords of 2 accounts have been checked.

Any idea where to look at?

      Thanks and regards -- Peter
