Display Company Stock Price on Dashboard as header

Hi All,

I have a request to display Company stock price on Dashboard as a header on all of my dashboard. I am not sure how to achieve this either using reports or Dashboard.

Functionality they are looking for is, While opening it should capture last stock price and display that. If they refresh report it should get the update price(if there is any change). If market is closed then it should display the price at which market closed.

I am using using Tableau 10.2

Sakat,

There are a few different methods to do this sort of thing outlined in the Web Data Connector area. For instance, I believe you could get this data from the Quandl connector that Craig Bloodworth has listed on that page.
